Groundwork's Achievement Coaches programme ran between October 2013 - July 2015 with support from via the SFA NEET Contract, funded by the Skills Funding Agency and European Social Fund.
The programme provided:
The programme offered young people to opportunity to work with youth practitioners with expertise in youth work, advice and guidance, careers advice and coaching who helped young people to access relevant activities, support and opportunities, and assisting their personal and learning progress.
The programme supported:
Support was available to young people in the London Boroughs of Brent, Ealing, Harrow, Hillingdon, and Hounslow.
The results were:
Nearly 500 young people who were at risk of being NEET (not in education, employment or training) were offered support to help them to stay in the education system and improve their educational attainment.
